Frequently Asked Questions

Below you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions from sports models referring to the shoot and my website:

1. What exactly do I have to do during the shoot?

I'll take photos of you while you are posing/flexing. You can see examples of the kind of photos I take in the galleries on this site. Besides I'll make a video of you (length about 25 – 30 minutes). The video contains posing and some strenght/fitness training exercises (e.g. weight lifting, push ups, pull ups).

I only take sports pictures and videos (no nudes).

The duration of the shoot is usually about 2 - 2.5 hours.

2. What will I get if I do a shoot for your website?

The model gets paid for the shoot (height of payment by arrangement). It’s not possible to participate in sales of the videos.

Besides the model gets the (edited) photos and a DVD of the edited video. The model can do with the photos and the video whatever he wants.

3. How do you finance your website?

I cover the costs (e.g. for paying the models etc.) by selling the photos and videos.

4. Are there any contractual obligations? Do I have to sign anything?

To publish and to sell your photos and videos I need your written permission. You have to declare that you give me the unrestricted rights to the photos and to the video so that I can use and sell them on my website. If you are under 18 years of age your parents/legal representatives have to sign the agreement, too.

The agreement only refers to my shoot and of course you can do shoots with other photographers, make contracts with model agencies etc. without my permission.

There are no costs for the model.

5. Who is interested in those photos and videos?

Some of my customers support athletes financially. In some cases this happens directly between the sponsor and the sportsman but also indirectly by buying my videos so that I can pay my models for the shoots.

The target audience of my photos and videos is young people who are interested in fitness/weight lifting and in a healthy lifestyle; people who buy fitness magazines, supplements or other fitness related products. Many of them are looking for training goals and/or for a motivation to get an athletic body or they just like to compare their training progress with the progress of other sportsmen.

Also photographers who are looking for athletic models for shoots are interested in my photos/videos.

6. What do I have to bring with me for the shoot?

Apart from having fun with posing-/training shoots please bring at least two shirts with short sleeves or sleeveless shirts in different colors with you and also shorts.

Please also take your identity card with you so that I can verfify that the personal data you put down on the model contract is correct.
